Announcing Innova Supernova Sublimation

…Out of this World Colour Quality Born out of an electrifying moment between our product development team, the Innova Supernova Sublimation range was sparked by a simple question. Why are there no dye-sublimation surfaces specifically for fine art and photographic prints? Taking all their years experience in creating inkjet fine art print surfaces, our team set out to change this. The result was Innova Supernova Sublimation: three products specifically for dye-sublimation printmakers looking to create fine art and photographic prints. Inspired by the epic transformations which take place in deep space, Innova Supernova is as powerful and luminous as any stellar explosion.  Utilising Innova Supernova Transfer Paper you can create cibachrome style photographic sublimations onto Innova Supernova Chrome. Or focus on the darkroom feel with baryta style fine art prints sublimated onto Innova Supernova Baryta. Each sublimation receptive substrate encapsulates the pigments within the surface: creating prints capable of representing millions of colours at a precise point in time, much like images of supernovas in deep space.  Whichever Innova Supernova Sublimation surface you choose, your images will go out into the world with a bang. Finished displays will create a pull so strong that fans won’t want to leave your work on the gallery walls. And, fortunately for printmakers and art collectors everywhere, there is no evidence of Innova Supernova Sublimation products creating a black hole.  Innova Supernova Sublimation media will be shown for the first time on stand G60 in hall 1 at FESPA 2021 in Amsterdam. Products will be available to order in Q4 of 2021 and Q1 of 2022. Many Innova Art Products Now FSC® Chain of Custody Certified

After a number of years working with their own environmental standards, Innova Art now has independent sustainability certification for a number of products in their media range. Committed to creating an ecologically sustainable supply chain, Innova Art has worked on a number of initiatives over the years. From investing in creating a 100% solar powered converting facility in 2015, to ensuring raw materials are responsibly sourced. Innova Art has been working with certified base products for many years. Achieving Chain of Custody certification for coated products seemed like a natural progression. Working in partnership with the Forest Stewardship Council®, Innova Art developed standards which ensure products made from FSC® certified base materials maintain that certification all the way through to the finished box. Preserving the worldwide forests through responsible management, FSC® certified products must meet key criteria for environmental, social and economic management practices. This includes everything from the way that trees are felled to the rights of indigenous people. Every product displaying the FSC logo (FSC® C167261) can be traced back to the original source. FESPA Global Print Expo and The Photography Show Postponed

Due to the continuing spread of COVID-19, the organisers of each show have decided to reschedule the events. The wellbeing of visitors, exhibitors and staff is at the heart of the decision to postpone by each organiser. The announcement from FESPA was made on March 4th 2020. FESPA CEO Neil Felton explained: “Until this week, our actions with regard to COVID-19 […] have been informed by guidance from the relevant international and national authorities, with the primary objective of safeguarding the health and wellbeing of exhibitors and visitors. However, in light of the recent spread of the virus in specific areas of mainland Europe, we have consulted with our stakeholders and have concluded that it is in the best interests of our community to defer the events to a later date.” Originally scheduled to take place at IFEMA Madrid, March 24-27, FESPA Global Print Expo 2020 would have been co located with two other shows: European Sign Expo 2020 and Sportswear Pro 2020. Currently there is no news on how long the show will be postponed for. FESPA will provide updated venue and event dates as soon as they are available. The Photography Show organisers, Future, made the decision to postpone on March 9th 2020. Co-located with The Video Show, The Photography Show 2020 would have taken place March 14-17 at Birmingham NEC. The two shows are now due to take place in September, with dates to be confirmed. Jonny Sullens, Head of Events at Future, explained: “We are incredibly disappointed that we've had to take this action so close to the event opening. However, it became clear that the recent acceleration in COVID-19 cases in the UK has led to heightened concerns for all [...]
