Innova Resin Coated Photo Premium Matte 260gsm (IFA-178) has won the Photography News Editor’s Choice Award 2022 This week the team at Photography News magazine announced the winners of their 2022 awards programme. The largest event in printing and graphic arts for the American markets was back at full strength in Las Vegas, October 19-21, 2022. At the first Printing United event since 2019, the halls were buzzing with the sounds of a community coming back together, people meeting old friends and new. Standing out in a sea of 701 exhibitors, covering 1 million square feet, is no small challenge. Hundreds of visitors stopped by the Color Management Group stand to see the latest addition to the Innova Art range: Innova Supernova Chrome. Returning to the NEC for The Photography Show 2022 was great experience for the Innova Art team. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet face to face with photography enthusiasts and get an intimate understanding of the qualities users are seeking in their inkjet media. Despite the shortened timescale due to the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, visitors still turned out in their droves to benefit from special show offers and see the latest developments. Printmakers familiar with the range of inkjet surfaces offered by Innova Art returned to pick up their old favourites. Touring the halls at FESPA 2022 was a great experience for the Innova Art team earlier this month. After ten consecutive years of taking a space at FESPA global events, FESPA 2022 bucked the trend for Innova Art. Instead of building a branded space, a few members of the Innova team visited to take a look around the halls. Not only did they get to see how Innova products were displayed on partner stands, they also took some inspiration from the wider industry. One of the big benefits was being able to network with a wider variety of visitors and exhibitors, rather than feeling restricted to people venturing into a branded booth space. “It was a novelty for us to be able to fully experience the visitor perspective of FESPA” says Wayne Connelly, Owner of Innova Art. “We were able to make time with our key customers to really connect as well as take advantage of serendipitous connections with other visitors whilst walking the halls.” There were a few key customers that the Innova team were keen to connect with at FESPA 2022.
