Bumper sales for Innova Art at The Photography Show 2018

The Photography Show 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham, 17-20 March, was an excellent marketplace for digital media and display specialists Innova Art. On the retail counter, run in partnership with the dedicated online retailer FineArtFoto.co.uk, the Olmec™ range of resin coated inkjet photo papers was as popular as ever. Olmec™ Archival Matte 230gsm and Olmec™ Photo Lightweight 190gsm in Gloss and Lustre finishes all sold out at the show. The new Innova Editions® range, which brings together a premium selection of cotton-based art and FibaPrint® photo papers, also proved popular. With some visitors reporting it is now their go-to range of archival inkjet fine art and photo papers from Innova. “In the demo area, the offer of a ‘free print from your memory stick’ was a massive hit. 300 or so photographers took the opportunity to print out their images on our Olmec Photo Satin Heavyweight 260gsm, Olmec Photo Metallic Gloss 260gsm or Fabriano Printmaking Rag 310gsm inkjet papers – all proved equally popular. We were very pleased to see some visitors buying a pack of the same paper to print on at home – job done!” said MD, Mike Gonzalez. “A big show is always a good place to learn from your customers,” continued MD, Mike Gonzalez. “This year we saw quite a few photographers who had bought the resin coated Olmec range from our retailer, Fine Art Foto, before. They were now looking to take the next step by printing on the FibaPrint® digital darkroom papers found in the Innova Editions® and Photo Art ranges. It is great to see that photographers are continually looking to improve the quality of their prints by using the best quality archival media.” Adding value to finished prints [...]

Ensuring it’s the details that make the difference: Innova Art at the Photography Show 2018

“In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject” Henri Cartier-Bresson In photography, details count: the eye behind the camera, the time, the place, the instant an image is captured, while in many ways digital photography has transformed the way in which photography happens, details continue to make the difference. That's what The Photography Show 2018 is all about. As a truly 21st Century digital media specialist – founded in 2003 – Innova Art delights in detail. The precise distinctions between this substrate or that, the fine balancing act of contrast, texture and warmth, all the ways in which technical innovation can make a complex task the easiest of jobs. The smallest adjustments can have the greatest impact. Which is why we’ll be welcoming visitors to our newly expanded demo and retail area on the Innova Art stand A1/B1 at the Photography Show, NEC, Birmingham, 17-20 March 2018. We want the lowdown on all their detailed requirements because, like any great photographer, we do sweat the small stuff. And we know we’ve the products to make your prints just that little bit better. See more at The Photography Show 2018 The Innova Editions® range features exceptional coated papers based on fully archival, cotton rag papers. Including mould made bases from Fabriano, a paper maker that has been honing its craft since the 13th century. The familiar natural tone and surface textures of these papers make them the perfect partner for traditional imagery. We’ve more exciting textures in the Fine Art range: Cold Press Rough Textured Natural White 315gsm (IFA 13), with a rough ‘watercolour’ surface, and Smooth Cotton High White DS 100% Cotton 225gsm (IFA 05), with a high white finish, silky smooth surface [...]

Innova Art at The Photography Show 2018: The rough, the smooth, old favourites and all-new

Innova Art is expanding its demo and retail area at The Photography Show 2018, NEC, Birmingham, 17-20 March, meaning there’s more reason than ever to visit its stand A1/B1. Returning to The Photography Show 2018, Innova Art will be showcasing their full product range on stand A1/B1. There’s an Innova Art substrate to suit every taste – from high-end, fully archival cotton-based media, to the specially formulated digital canvases that have had reviewers describing them as the “king” of their type. There’s the famed Fibaprint® digital darkroom papers found in both the Photo Art and Innova Editions® ranges: for photographers who want to combine the traditional look and feel of darkroom prints with the ease of digital printing, and image display products that turn artwork into eye-catching wall or desktop displays. Display options include the Pinchbook™ Photo Books range of effortlessly elegant presentation books and albums, GOframe – the failsafe canvas stretching system that makes canvases the simplest of jobs, and the JetMaster® range – the award-winning print alternative to conventional wrapped canvas prints and elegant frame free displays. “Behind every great print there’s a great substrate, but everything depends on what the photographer is looking for, whether it’s a natural or high-impact tone, a flawless smooth surface or that little bit of texture and body," says MD Mike Gonzalez. “The point of our expanded demo area is to give visitors the opportunity to find out for themselves and perhaps to try a paper or canvas that’s new to them. Isn’t experimentation always the best way forward in art?” ”As in previous years, our stand partner is the specialist online retailer Fine Art Foto, so visitors can get advice and easily make a purchase while [...]

Innova Art: the word gets out at The Photography Show

All the signs were that the Innova Art stand would be a big draw at The Photography Show, NEC, Birmingham, 18-21 March 2017. And it was. We’d put the word out about Innova Art’s multi-award-winning range of digital media, ingenious photo wraps, panels and other display and presentation solutions (that’s our job). But for visitors, the opportunity to see these products being put through their paces was simply too good to miss. It meant thousands of people made a beeline for the Innova Art/Fine Art Foto stand A1/B1 throughout the four-day show. “The Photography Show was excellent and we certainly felt we saw more visitors than last year,” said Mike Gonzalez, Managing Director of Innova Art. “We drew big crowds for the live demonstrations of our GOframe canvas stretching system, and for Northlight’s Keith Cooper’s expert presentations about large-format printing. The JetMaster® Photo Wraps and JetMaster® Photo Panels, which offer such quick, easy and flexible décor solutions, proved especially popular, and the Fine Art Foto retail counter was also buzzing. We had terrific sales right across the Olmec range of media, as well as of the Fabriano Printmaking Rag 310gsm (IFA 107) and the Exhibition Photo Baryta 310gsm (IFA 69). The new Innova Art Editions range of six specially selected media for fine art photographers and printers makes such a difference to the image that’s produced." “And Pinchbooks, a brilliantly cost-effective and elegant way to store and present photographic prints, were once again a massive hit with photographers of all levels, from students to pros." “How we do it is not really a secret at all. We keep on meeting our customers at events like The Photography Show, to listen carefully to what it is [...]

It’s a sell out for Innova Art at The Photography Show 2016

The Innova range of digital fine art and photographic media proved popular at The Photography show, Birmingham, 19-22 March. A bigger stand than ever before saw Innova Art reseller, Fine Art Foto, selling out of some of the most popular product lines. The stand next to the super stage had a constant stream of visitors keen to stock up on their digital fine art supplies. “Metallic papers were popular this year, the onsite stock of Olmec Photo Metallic Lustre 260gsm sold out before the end of the show,” Wayne Malodobry of Fine Art Foto reported. Alongside the Olmec Metallic papers, the Photo Satin papers also proved popular and Pinchbook Photo Books were flying off the shelf. These covers offer a simple way to bind multiple prints. Pinchbook Photo Books can be used with any paper type – resin coated photo papers or matte and gloss digital fine art papers. Prints can be easily inserted by pulling back the covers to open the patented spring clamp and then secured in place by returning the covers to their original position. “The flexibility of being able to change the content in seconds really appealed to visitors,” commented Malodobry. Value added convenience was a theme for the Innova art stand at The Photography Show this year. The demonstration zone had a regular crowd of visitors keen to learn how to add value to their canvas prints using the GOframe canvas stretching system. The system, which only requires a knife, caught the eye of many enthusiastic photographers looking to make their own stretched canvases at home. “Many photographers said they currently outsource canvas stretching, or had resisted printing on canvas because they felt they lacked the necessary skills to stretch [...]
