Let’s Get Lost – A Photographic Exhibition of Los Angeles

Come join photographer Jim McHugh, Timothy Yarger Fine Art: Beverly Hills, and Innova Art for an unique Polaroid chronicle of Los Angeles, titled "Let's Get Lost." These amazing images were all printed using Innova Fibaprint White Gloss (IFA 09). “McHugh is heir to a particular experience and vision of Los Angeles that's all romance, noir, silhouetted buildings, and casual luxury. His photographs capture the ghost of what was - and might be again - LA's promise of beauty and the sunny, shadowy, glittering character of America in its vintage red-carpet regalia." - Shana Nys Dambrot The exhibit runs from May 22 to June 30, with an opening reception on May 22, from 7pm-9pm. Photographer Jim McHugh will be on-site on May 22 from 2:30-5PM signing 50 limited edition color and black and white bound books that Timothy Yarger Fine Art has on sale now. Innova Art’s new Decor Art ES paper: adding real value opportunities in the billion pound décor art market With their innovative range of award winning products, Innova Art leads the way adding real value opportunities with the “new” Décor Art ES (Eco Solvent) paper. The stunning image resolution and colour rendition of the new generation of eco-solvent printers, combined with their environmentally responsible ‘green’ credentials, have made them a huge hit in the graphics and signage market, As with inkjet a decade ago, solvent has the potential to become a highly profitable ‘crossover’ technology into the décor art market, matching conventional inkjet for quality, and an easy winner in terms of cost. The key to unlock this potential is effective media, which is why Innova Art’s new 260gsm Decor Art ES paper is so significant. Innova Art’s ES paper is currently the only art paper compatible with all eco-solvent machines Available in both velvet and textured finishes, the paper has the classic feel of an art paper, with a bright white tone and semi-gloss lustre that makes for brilliant image reproduction. Innova Partners with ARTtrust

Innova Art has partnered with ARTtrust, which gives Photographers and Artists PROOF that each print is unique and authentic. "In this age of refined mechanical reproduction, the temptation to forge photographic works of art is easily satisfied," says legendary photographer Joel Meyerowitz. "We have been hoping and waiting for a foolproof method of security and maintaining the authenticity of our work." The ARTtrust system uses the ARTtrust Bubble Tag™, a label in which a random set of air bubbles is encapsulated in a translucent polymer film. The label uses a pH-neutral, non-acidic adhesive that won't affect the archival properties of the print and has already been approved by authorities such as the Swiss Institute of Gemmology and the French Ministry of Industry. When an art print is produced for sale, the photographer or artist applies the silver Bubble Tag to the back of the print, the gold Bubble Tag to the customer's certificate of authenticity, and the blue Bubble Tag to their own copy of the certification document or file. The photographer or artist then registers the tag number on the print to his or her personal space on ARTtrust Online. Sellers or buyers can then easily verify the authenticity of a particular print by visiting ARTtrust Online and entering the print's Bubble Tag number. The records also provide information about the artist, printing method, and materials used. ARTtrust was incubated at Hewlett-Packard (HP) in partnership with Prooftag and Wilhelm Imaging Research. It was presented for the first time at Photo Plus Expo in October, and won the DIMA award at PMA. For more information, visit: www.ARTtrustOnline.com
