Value added by Innova at FESPA Digital 2015

Full service solutions were on show at FESPA 2015

For printers there is always a challenge of how to add value to a print job, Innova Art addressed this need by demonstrating how their customers can expand their print offering by creating set ups, on thier FESPA stand, to show the value added possibilities. Not just with media but with the full range of Innova products.

Innova and GOframe at FESPA 2015The launch of our new partnership with GOframe was a perfect pairing for a mini lab driven by Shiraz Software. GOframe is a unique framing solution for creating stretched canvases in minutes. Paired with any of the Innova aqueous or Eco-Solvent compatible canvases you can create matte, semi-gloss or gloss finishes with next to no effort. Select the best length of bars, or create an image sized to fit, starting at 4” up to 60” long with lots of options in between, as well as an option to cut bars to custom lengths – there will be no sizes out of your reach with GOframe. Position your bars centrally on the back of your canvas, using the patented corner system to ensure the tape does not touch before you’re ready. Apply pressure to attach the bars to the canvas and lift up to outer edges to form the canvas sides. Secure everything in place with the u-shaped pins provided and you’re done. Finished canvases can then be collected together to form interesting displays using Collage Clips from GOframe. For even more variety you can use JetMaster Paper by Innova to print your images – available in smooth or canvas embossed, it is durable enough to fold and stretch without cracking and can create an additional pricing option for those customers conscious of cost when shopping for finished canvases.Innova inkjet media on show at FESPA 2015

For printers with dry labs seeking ways to add value to their prints, Pinchbook Photo Books offer the perfect presentation solution for loose prints or album pages. Compatible with any print technology, just print your images at a standard size, starting at 4×6”, fold back the covers and insert the pages into the spine, return the covers to their original position and you have an album in seconds. Available in two colours (black or taupe) with an option for a window in some covers sizes, you can even add an additional level of personalisation by creating bespoke dust jackets or printing directly onto the cover, using your existing wide format or UV flatbed printer. Single prints can also have value added by presenting them attractively using the JetMaster Photo Panel, a frame free image display solution. Available in sizes from 5×7” and with a choice of black or white edge colours, it is as simple as remove the release liner and stick the photo in place – straight from the printer! All sizes have pre-drilled holes on the back for easy wall hanging or desk display, whatever format the picture is in.

JetMaster Direct Print Photo Wraps printed at FESPA 2015Also on the Innova Art stand at FESPA Digital this year was an Océ Arizona 318GL UV flatbed printer, supplied and operated by JetMaster distributor, Sign-Tronic. JetMaster Image Display Systems by Innova was originally launched in 2010. The Photo Wrap was developed to address a need in the photography sector for a cost effective canvas wrap alternative to wooden stretcher bars. Using specially developed paper users are able to mount prints onto pre-cut and perforated board, straight from the printer, by removing the release liner from the surface of the board. This then folds up neatly into a canvas effect frame.

The Océ Arizona on the Innova stand brought to life the newest development of the JetMaster Direct Print Photo Wrap, created especially for the sign market after meeting the owner of Sign-Tronic at FESPA 2012. Anyone with a flatbed UV printer can now, literally, bring another dimension to the poster market – for resale or Point Of Purchase display. Print your design onto the front of the frame, then remove the release liner on the back, this exposes the adhesive and allows you to fold the pre-cut and perforated board, easily creating a canvas effect finish in minutes. Ships to customers fully constructed – a much lighter choice than when using stretcher bars, or ship them flat for your customer to create on receipt – space saving, lightweight and simple when dealing in large quantities of the sample image.
