And it was.

A bigger stand than ever before saw Innova Art reseller, Fine Art Foto, selling out of some of the most popular product lines. The stand next to the super stage had a constant stream of visitors keen to stock up on their digital fine art supplies.

“Metallic papers were popular this year, the onsite stock of Olmec Photo Metallic Lustre 260gsm sold out before the end of the show,” Wayne Malodobry of Fine Art Foto reported. Alongside the Olmec Metallic papers, the Photo Satin papers also proved popular and Pinchbook Photo Books were flying off the shelf. These covers offer a simple way to bind multiple prints. Pinchbook Photo Books can be used with any paper type – resin coated photo papers or matte and gloss digital fine art papers. Prints can be easily inserted by pulling back the covers to open the patented spring clamp and then secured in place by returning the covers to their original position. “The flexibility of being able to change the content in seconds really appealed to visitors,” commented Malodobry.

Value added convenience was a theme for the Innova art stand at The Photography Show this year. The demonstration zone had a regular crowd of visitors keen to learn how to add value to their canvas prints using the GOframe canvas stretching system. The system, which only requires a knife, caught the eye of many enthusiastic photographers looking to make their own stretched canvases at home. “Many photographers said they currently outsource canvas stretching, or had resisted printing on canvas because they felt they lacked the necessary skills to stretch it,” says Jon Courtiour, Business Director for Décor, display and Retail Solutions. “The GOframe system proves you don’t need extensive training or expensive equipment to create professional stretched canvases,” continued Courtiour.

Using precut bars, photographers can attach prints by removing the liner from the pre applied adhesive. The patented GOframe system means that prints can be easily aligned. Once the bars are secure, simply trim off the excess canvas with a knife and secure the corners with u-shaped pins, inserting corner tabs for a drum-tight canvas finish. Alongside the GOframe system, Innova Art hosted demonstrations of their JetMaster Photo Panel. These unique, lightweight, foam core panels range in size from 5×7” up to 24×30”. Visitors to The Photography Show 2016 were impressed by the ease with which a resin coated inkjet print can be turned into a frame free piece of wall art. Available with a black or white edge, JetMaster Photo Panels can be completed in under a minuet: simply remove the release liner and apply your print, trim off the excess media then insert the desk stand or hang on the wall using the pre drilled holes on the back.

YouTac® Textile made its debut at The Photography Show 2016. “It was great to be able to demonstrate this product to the photography market. You could really see it ignite a creative spark in everyone who saw it,” commented Jon Courtiour.

To create an image on YouTac Textile, all you need to do is print, the woven textile surface has adhesive on the back which is protected by a release liner. Remove the release liner and apply the print to a non-porous surface. Intelligent YouTac adhesive means it can be removed and repositioned countless times. As the printed surface is fabric, the prints are flexible enough to be installed around corners or curves without cracking and spoiling your image.

“Some of the suggested applications for this product were great; everything from customised stickers to bespoke photography backdrops,” Courtiour continued “I can’t wait to see what people do with it.”
