Successful debut for Editions range at Photo Plus Expo 2016

From October 20th to 22nd at Photo Plus Expo 2016, Javits Convention Centre in New York City, the Innova team presented the new Editions range to the US market.

Featuring eye-catching vintage Marilyn Monroe photos by Milton H. Greene, courtesy of The Archives, the Innova stand drew in the crowds to see how each of the new grades captured the likeness of one of the 20th Century’s best known icons. Photo Plus Expo is North America’s largest photo and imaging event, the organisers of the show expected over 21,000 attendees to the 2016 event and the Innova team was not disappointed. New customers and long-time users of the Innova brand reacted positively to the new Editions range and packaging:

“Exhibition Cotton Gloss has become my go to paper for my gallery shows,”
Keith Johnson, Fine Art Photographer

“Well, I have to tell you that, using Fabriano Printmaking and Watercolour Rag, we have produced some of the finest prints we have ever made. We found the color rendering most impressive, detail is breathtaking, and we love the textured surface. Going forward, these are the papers we will use for all our fine art prints.”
Falcon, Managing Director of NyghtFalcon Photography.

In addition to their own stand Innova Art was also featured on the Canon Power of Print Pavilion, operating each day of the show. Innova sponsored several printers on the pavilion, enabling each attendee to get their own image produced on the new Fabriano Printmaking Rag 310gsm paper in the Editions range. Due to exceptionally good promotion from the Canon and Photo Plus Expo marketing teams, the event was so popular that it inspired a foot race to be first in line at the pavilion each morning when the show opened. Lines wrapped the Power of Print Pavilion for all three days and, whilst waiting in line to get their print produced, attendees could listen to guest speaker’s talk about photography, printing and more. Innova Art’s own David Williams (Market Manager; North America) spoke each day on how touch impacts printing and how printing on luxurious papers can elevate a photographers personal brand, increase the perceived value of the image and stressed how printing can preserve memories for future generations.
