October 8-11 Marked The Launch of a New Era for Representation of Innova Art in France

Following organisational changes within their French retailer, Innova Art were able to show all sides of the inkjet print making process at Salon de la Photo 2026. Visitors were able to see previously unpublished photographs by Steven Katzman, watch production in process on the stand and get hands on with all the papers in the Innova Art range. Made possible by the recent acquisition of Torpedo, the longstanding retail partner of Innova Art in France, by DMBA, one of the leading French suppliers of print hardware.

Drawn to the stunning display of previously unpublished images of Muhammad Ali by photographer Steven Katzman on the Innova Art stand. Salon de la Photo attendees explored another side to the heavyweight boxing champion and activist. Gaining an insight through a series of intimate portraits, taken at Ali’s home in 1993.

Whilst on the stand, visitors were treated to live displays of archival inkjet printing on Innova Art paper and dye-sublimation heat transfer onto products in the Innova Supernova Sublimation range. Using equipment available to buy through their website, the DMBA team talked people through each process and explained the importance of using colour managed workflows.

After watching how easy it is to produce fine art photo prints, visitors were drawn to touch and feel the entire range of inkjet surfaces manufactured by Innova. Speaking to the Innova team, they discussed the myriad of ways paper choice impacts a viewers experience of an image. Attendees with their own printer were able to purchase sample packs from Torpedo to see how their own images look on Innova Art papers.
