Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Rag 310gsm
Description
Arguably the world’s number one mould made watercolour paper, Fabriano Artistico is a traditional mould made surface from the Fabriano paper mill in Italy. Dating back to the 13th Century, Fabriano is known as the birthplace of European paper making. Innova Editions® Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Rag 310gsm is an inkjet compatible version of this historic paper. Giving contemporary watercolour artists the opportunity to create digital print reproductions on the same paper used to paint the original artwork.
The natural white surface of this 100% cotton rag inkjet fine art paper features a texture unique to the mould made surface. Each fibre falls in a random direction, providing a feeling of movement in the matte finish. The inkjet receptive coating provides the capability to reproduce a wide colour gamut and rich tonal ranges, ensuring accurate, lifelike, colour reproduction.
Compatible with both pigment and dye based inkjet printers, Innova Editions® Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Rag 310gsm is available in roll and sheet formats. Suitable for use in both home and professional studio set-ups. The archival qualities of this paper meet museum standards, ensuring that prints produced on the surface can be treasured by generations to come.

Jan R Smit Fine Art Printing Specialist –
I had the opportunity to review the Fabriano Printmaking Rag 310grm, and i am impressed, to say the least!
My objective as printmaker is to bring my customer’s images to life on a unique fine art print. This paper does excactly that and adds something unique to the user experience of the print!
I showed this to various customers already, and all reactions were the same, this paper (and the IFA107) does give an unique user experience.
Its more coarse texture can really ” lifts” the image and adds extra dimensionality.
