As the world begins to reopen after months of disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Innova Art were able to attend their first in person trade fair in over a year.
Held in Beijing, the 2021 edition of China International Image Output and Art Frame Expo was open to visitors May 7th to 9th. More than 280 exhibitors attended the 2021 event, the 9th since the show was launched. Members of the output, media and frame industry turned up to support this important national event.
Exhibiting at the China International Image Output and Art Frame Expo for the fourth time. Innova Art shared a booth with their Chinese distributor, ByStar, and country partner, Century Color. Showcasing the combination of excellent inkjet fine art media combined with framing techniques to create exceptional archival displays.
The Innova Editions® range formed the focal point of the booth, with three of these papers causing a stir. Innova Fabriano Printmaking Rag 310gsm, Innova Fabriano Artistico Watercolour Rag 310gsm and Innova Exhibition Photo Baryta 310gsm are among the best sellers in the in the Chinese archival print output industry. Each surface lends a different quality to the final result yet ensures that printmakers creating museum work, art reproductions and photography can trust that their prints will last for years to come.
Working with their framing, scanning and printing partners Innova Art aims to ensure they can support the entire lifecycle of fine art printmaking. Enabling artists and printmakers to find the very best equipment for fine art print reproduction. Innova Art partner Century Color launched their new fine art scanner alongside the latest models of Epson printers at China International Output and Frame Expo 2021.
Looking to the future, Innova Art also introduced the next generation of archival fine art print media. Compatible with eco-solvent, latex and UV technology, the Innova Graphic Art range features a variety of media textures for art and décor prints. The most recent addition to this range is Innova Eco Solvent Poster Art Paper 210gsm (IFA-145), developed for the décor art market. This new paper was well received by members of this rapidly growing market in China who value the production efficiency of eco-solvent, latex and UV machines, combined with the quality provided by Innova Art compatible media: almost equivalent to the output of water based printers.
