IFA 12 is a paper that deserves more attention and appreciation. Images printed on the paper exhibit a “quiet elegance” in which colors and fine details are rendered perfectly. This paper will appeal to those seeking prints with a slightly warmer palette and a soft glow. Careful attention to editing using the Innova ICC profile will yield prints that stand out and IMO surpass those of the same image printed on papers that are perhaps better known and which are considerably more expensive.

I agree with Jan. Prints on this paper have excellent color separation and Dmax. If one desires to use a conservatively textured cotton matte paper the Innova 107 is a perfect choice.

Incidentally, I find that the Innova ICC profiles provide excellent results.

I print giclee reproductions of antique engravings on two types of paper this is one of the two. So much better than a double weight matte paper from another brand and at a great price.

For monochrome printing this is as close as I can find to a gelatin silver print. Very similar indeed to Museo Silver Rag, which it seems is no longer available in the United Kingdom.

I had the opportunity to review the Fabriano Printmaking Rag 310grm, and i am impressed, to say the least!
My objective as printmaker is to bring my customer’s images to life on a unique fine art print. This paper does excactly that and adds something unique to the user experience of the print!
I showed this to various customers already, and all reactions were the same, this paper (and the IFA107) does give an unique user experience.
Its more coarse texture can really ” lifts” the image and adds extra dimensionality.
